We’re looking for an ambitious Talent Acquisition Associate to join our Talent team and grow with us. If you’re eager to learn, love connecting with people, and want to build a career in recruiting and HR, this is the perfect opportunity to get hands‑on experience and make an immediate impact.
What you’ll bring to the table:- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple offices and departments
- Partner with the Lead Recruiter to support full‑cycle recruiting
- Manage and maintain our Applicant Tracking System () to keep candidate information organized and accurate
- Source and engage talent through platforms like Linked In, Handshake, and other channels
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and help identify strong fits for Merit’s culture and business needs
- Assist with offer letter processes and ensuring compliance
- Support recruiting events, campus engagements, and networking initiatives
- Assist with employer branding efforts through social media (Linked In), showcasing Merit’s people, culture, and opportunities
- Contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes and elevate the candidate experience
We’re seeking someone who’s excited to learn, eager to grow, and ready to roll up their sleeves. This is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants to develop into a skilled recruiter and talent professional.
Qualifications:- 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or related fields (internship experience welcome!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’re comfortable talking to anyone
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and energized by working in a fast‑paced environment
- Team‑oriented mindset and a passion for helping others succeed
- Familiarity with Linked In, Handshake, or ATS systems is a plus — but we’ll teach you!
