Job Summary
The Executive Compensation Lead administers, maintains, and communicates system-wide executive compensation programs, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This position serves as subject‑matter expert for executive compensation initiatives and supports the design of compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate a high‑quality and high‑performing executive workforce.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Lead the administration, maintenance, and communication of executive compensation programs, including base pay, short‑ and long‑term incentive plans, and market adjustments.
- Lead HR initiatives and multiple complex compensation projects, including plan changes, ongoing education efforts, operations, and vendor transitions, to ensure employee understanding and efficient daily operations.
- Collaborate with external consultants and internal team members and prepare materials for Board/Compensation Committee meetings regarding executive compensation decisions, updates, and other initiatives requiring Committee approval.
- Maintain comprehensive market information related to executive compensation, evaluate new approaches, trends, and best practices to ensure market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Legal, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit, and third‑party administrators regarding executive compensation programs to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance with all applicable laws.
- Consult and advise HR leadership on compensation processes and programs, including offers, incentives, and compensation adjustments.
- Ensure systems, tools, and processes used for compensation analyses are current, effective, efficient, and reliable.
- Mentor executive compensation staff, providing performance and development feedback.
Key Success Factors
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of executive compensation policies, practices, and regulations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver concise, data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Executive presence and extensive communication with senior leadership, including concise written communication, group presentations, and individual conversations.
- Ability to influence all levels of management to resolve complex issues that may be outside of guidelines.
- Ability to work under pressure and reprioritize tasks for self and team to meet deadlines and deliverables consistently.
- Ability to balance multiple demands and respond to time constraints while providing white‑glove customer service and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION – Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- EXPERIENCE – 5 Years of Experience.
- HYBRID expectation – on-site on Wednesdays.
