$70,000 – $75,000 USD annually, based on experience
The Benefits and Leave of Absence Manager will be responsible for the HR Shared Services for all corporate and theater operations, overseeing and administering the organization's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
This role ensures that benefits are competitive, compliant with regulations, and effectively communicated to employees.
JOB DUTIES
- Develops, implements, and oversees an organization's employee benefits and wellness programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Design and execute employee communications relating to benefits.
- Managing the full lifecycle of leave requests, from initial notice to return to work, including paperwork, eligibility determination, and communication with stakeholders
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; workers compensation, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, benefits management, and employment law.
- Supports the Corporate HR Manager and HRBPs in assisting with Shared Services: company benefits management, risk management and HRIS platform management.
- Headquarters office management, mail distribution, HR voicemails, office supplies and/or
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of human resource experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR a plus.
SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations for the USA.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, Workday and/or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and HCM management systems.
- Ability to perform daily duties and projects in a fast-paced, multi-location, multi-time zone environment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- May have to travel to various locations within the United Sates
