Benefits Administrator

Description

We are looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator to support a high-volume open enrollment period in Dallas, Texas. This Contract position will play a key role in assisting employees with benefit-related questions, guiding them through enrollment selections, and ensuring a smooth seasonal enrollment experience. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of benefits administration and can collaborate effectively with payroll partners while providing accurate, timely support.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to employee inquiries related to open enrollment by phone and provide clear guidance on available benefit options.

- Assist staff members with completing benefit elections and resolving issues that arise during the annual enrollment window.

- Review benefit information for accuracy and help confirm coverage details for medical, insurance, and retirement plans.

- Coordinate closely with the payroll team to address benefit deductions, enrollment updates, and related employee concerns.

- Support administration of COBRA, leave of absence matters, and other benefits-related processes as needed during the assignment.

- Maintain organized records of employee interactions, benefit changes, and enrollment activity throughout the contract period.

- Help identify and escalate complex benefit issues to the appropriate internal contacts for timely resolution.

Requirements - 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, including direct support during open enrollment or annual enrollment cycles.

- Strong understanding of employee benefit programs such as medical, insurance, retirement, and related coverage administration.

- Experience handling benefit coordination, benefits verification, and insurance verification with a high level of accuracy.

- Familiarity with COBRA administration, leave of absence processes, and benefits payroll coordination.

- Comfortable managing a high volume of employee calls and questions in a fast-paced support environment.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain benefit information clearly and professionally.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with payroll and cross-functional teams.
