Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Business Partner serves as the primary HR partner for the Dallas market. The HR Business Partner delivers HR guidance and expertise in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serve as a strategic partner to management, involved in forward-looking decision-making related to people and talent.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process within the market, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates, build strong talent pipelines, partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey while supporting the organization’s long-term talent acquisition goals.
• Implement HR initiatives within the market, aligning business objectives with HR strategies, and ensuring consistent policy application.
• Assist in employee relations matters including workplace investigations, policy/issue resolution, progressive discipline, performance management, and employee separations.
• Develop thorough, accurate documentation of investigations from planning phase through resolution.
• Support management in identifying development needs and ensuring successful development and training of team members in coordination with corporate partners.
• Partner with business leaders to understand needs related to workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and change initiatives, and work with internal partners to support.
• Coordinate and execute meaningful employee events, wellness activities and experiences that contribute to a sense of community and belonging for all Mid First employees in the Dallas market (e.g., employee appreciation events, group volunteer events, health screens, flu shots, summer picnic, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to Federal, state, and local employment laws.

• 5+ yearsof
  
  Human Resources experience in a professional work environment required; financial services or banking experience strongly preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience advising leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies.
• Experience managing recruiting, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee concerns.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Experience planning and executing employee engagement and wellness events.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, conflict management skills, and attention to detail.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to travel between office locations within the Dallas-metro area. Occasional out of state travel.
• Working Knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws, and regulations.
