Payroll & Benefits Manager

We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee accurate, timely payroll operations and support employee benefits administration for a large, multi-state workforce. This role is based in Dallas, Texas, and will serve as a key partner to HR and leadership in maintaining compliant processes, resolving payroll and benefits issues, and improving day-to-day administration. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in full-cycle payroll, strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, and a track record of managing complex payroll environments with precision.

Responsibilities:
• Direct end-to-end payroll processing for more than 500 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage bi-monthly payroll cycles, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and final pay calculations.
• Oversee payroll administration within ADP Workforce Now and maintain accurate employee records, system updates, and reporting.
• Administer employee benefits programs by coordinating enrollments, changes, terminations, and ongoing employee support.
• Review payroll and benefits data for discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to support audits, reporting requests, and process improvements related to payroll and benefits.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements as well as company policies and internal controls.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll questions, benefit deductions, and related administrative matters.
