Manager, IT Infrastructure Due Diligence, M&A Strategy

Join KPMG US as a Manager within the Strategy practice to lead IT infrastructure due diligence and M&A strategy projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high level administrative support to senior practice and process leaders, interacting frequently with senior leadership and external clients.
  • Manage and maintain complex calendars and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare time and expense reports, and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Handle highly confidential information while managing multiple competing tasks.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in decision making and procedure formulation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years external consulting experience for a technology/business consulting firm or a combination of external consulting and technology industry experience, with a track record of driving major IT-related business change, proficiency in IT related M&A integrations/separations, logical strategy development, systems life cycle management, data modeling, and architecture visioning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university/college.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure best practices and essential requirements for implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions and standards.
  • Deep understanding of technical requirements for designing, constructing, and managing data center and server room environments, and deploying, managing, and maintaining IT solutions, including UNIX, Windows, Linux, SAN, NAS, and virtualization.
  • Previous project management experience with ability to prioritize/organize diverse material and strong consulting skills (analytical, written, verbal, executive presence, facilitation, and presentation).
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
