AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX and New York City, NY – Hybrid Role (4 Days onsite, 1 day remote)

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

• 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, with a focus on AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Exposure to containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, ELK Stack).
• General knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments.

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate).
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with Git Ops principles and tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Basic experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
