Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators, and business partners to understand business needs.
• Responsible for the entire flow of data into the Data Warehouse.
• Develop Informatica packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for EDW.
• Develop and maintain Operational Data Stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories.
• Design and implement performance data movement pipelines using multiple ETL tools with batch and real-time event data streams.
• Gather business and information requirements from product owners across various functional units.
• Ensure database features and capabilities are incorporated into data model designs to optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability.
• Deliver and present proofs of concept of key technology components to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders.
• Problem-solve Data Warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high-level critical production issues requiring immediate attention.
• Create and optimize data structures for reporting and data integration.
• Contribute to discussions on implementing metadata tools for EDW (business glossary, data lineage).
• Perform design implementation and support of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and data structures within all layers of the EDW environment.
• Support offshore resources to drive data projects end to end.

• Bachelor’s degree in or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an IT-related field.
• 8 years of experience in software development as a Senior Software Engineer or in a role engaged in data warehousing, data integration, and data analytics.
• 4 years of experience in PL/SQL, Python, PySpark, and Shell scripting, with experience using ETL tools (Informatica Power Center, IICS, IDQ, Erwin) and in leading technical projects and teams.
• 6 years of experience in software development using waterfall and Agile methodologies, delivering Enterprise Data Marts, data processing pipelines, real-time data ingestion, and data analytics.
• 2 years of experience with cloud-based platforms and services on AWS.
• 5 years of experience with Informatica, data quality, and data lineage.
• 3 years of experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire or Power BI).
• 7 years of experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, ETL, Oracle, and Teradata Server databases.
