Data Scientist​/Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Scientist with a strong focus on analytics to join the Ecommerce Product Analytics team on a 6-month contract. This role emphasizes data-informed decision-making through behavioral analysis, A/B test support, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to improve user experience, conversion, and overall business performance.

• Analyze user behavior and conduct funnel analysis to uncover actionable insights.
• Support A/B test design, execution, and interpretation.
• Build dashboards and monitor KPIs to guide product decisions.
• Surface data quality issues and contribute to data integrity improvements.
• Translate complex data findings into clear business storytelling.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and measure success metrics.
• Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and updates calls.
• Work independently and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

• Experience with Looker and Amplitude for product analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Background in eCommerce analytics and performance tracking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple reporting tasks.

• Experience with Python for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Optimizely for experimentation and testing.
• Understanding of machine learning systems and pipelines.
• Experience in product analytics within high-growth environments.
