CRM Database Administrator

Role

Description:

The CRM Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the CRM system to ensure it meets the needs of the company. This role involves understanding the various components of the CRM, overseeing data integrity, providing user support, and generating analytical reports to support business development efforts.

Location: Dallas, Texas

Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

CRM Management
  • Configure and customize the CRM system to align with business processes and objectives.
  • Implement workflows, automation, and integrations to improve efficiency.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
Data Integrity and Maintenance
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data within the CRM system.
  • Regularly clean and update the database to remove duplicates and outdated information.
  • Implement data validation rules and conduct regular audits.
User Support and Training
  • Provide technical support to CRM users, resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure staff are proficient in using the CRM system.
  • Create user guides and documentation for reference.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Generate regular and ad‑hoc reports to provide insights into business development activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the sales and marketing teams with data‑driven recommendations.
System Optimization
  • Monitor CRM performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure system security and data protection.
  • Stay updated with CRM software updates and best practices, implementing enhancements as needed.
Project Management
  • Lead CRM‑related projects, from planning to execution and evaluation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Document project progress and provide regular updates to management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt‑Zollars' business process.
  • Productively collaborates with others and leads or encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each other.
  • Understands and follows HZ QMS and quality initiatives; ensures quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.
  • Understands duties and responsibilities, possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills, maintains job knowledge current.
  • Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the project team and office.
  • Complete assignments on‑time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.
  • Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish assignments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in CRM administration, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Deltek, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hub Spot).
  • Strong understanding of database management and data integrity principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency in CRM software and database management.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
