RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy / Planning – Cultivate long-term strategic goals for CRM with architects, data users, managers, clients, and stakeholders; develop CRM architecture, coding standards, QA policies and procedures; plan and implement capacity/resource expansion for scalability.
  • Acquisition / Deployment – Research and recommend CRM products/services/protocols/standards; support procurement/development; evaluate and select CRM components (hardware/subscriptions/tools).
  • Operational Management – Customize/enhance the CRM platform; maintain system integrations; standardize CRM processes and best practices; collaborate with end users to define/deliver reports; identify/address inefficiencies, data quality issues; ensure data consistency/integrity; resolve CRM access/performance issues; install/configure components; execute configuration/performance tuning; monitor integrations/execution times; implement efficiency improvements; manage change control/testing processes; develop business reports/dashboards; translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Support Operations – Troubleshoot/resolve Tier 2/3 CRM issues; escalate Tier 3 issues; identify deficiencies/recommend improvements; deliver strategic projects; perform unit/integration testing; provide analytics on CRM engagement/usage.
  • Project Management – Plan/manage CRM project schedules/resources/budgets; manage stakeholder expectations; lead technical projects/upgrades and business functional projects.
ABOUT THE PROJECT

The D365 CRM Lead will join an established commercial real estate firm and take full ownership of a highly customized MS D365 CRM platform used across US markets. The Lead must be a strong techno/functional leader focused on platform stability, adoption, training, and light enhancements rather than new development. This is a high-impact role with critical platform ownership and direct engagement with business and technology leadership.

  • D365 CRM Environment – The CRM is heavily customized with non-standard code and entities; out-of-the-box D365 knowledge is insufficient. It is viewed more as a Rolodex for contacts rather than a full sales funnel. Sales funnel/pipeline and project management aspects are minimal. Integrations with external and internal systems exist but are not mission critical.
  • D365 CRM Platform Adoption – CRM usage is optional for brokers; strong communication, negotiation, and user engagement skills are needed to drive adoption across a non-technical, sales-focused population.
  • Team / Technical Leadership – Lead a blended team (1 onshore / 3 offshore) with offshore task prioritization, solution design approvals, assignments, and delivery oversight. No traditional people management, but input on replacing underperforming offshore members as needed.
  • Hands-on Development – Hands-on development is not the primary focus, but the Lead must stay technically involved to triage issues, contribute to architectural direction, and avoid…
