Job Description &
  • The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, maintenance, and support of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • This position reports to the company Compliance Director
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of IT systems, including but not limited to cloud, web, business productivity, endpoint management, enterprise architecture, field support, help desk, application security, asset management, and solution architecture.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new technology and enterprise solutions.
  • Accountability and management of our third-party IT support desk. Act as a point of escalation for incidents, service requests, and problem resolution to support the team's service delivery and on-call support requirements. Direct and prioritize project work assigned to the third party to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Provide leadership and coaching for site office admins, fostering professional development and enhancing basic technical skills.
  • Establish and enforce governance mechanisms for company standards and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams, and other related entities through regular touchpoints to develop strong partnerships and feed into IT strategic planning to improve business performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to projects and new systems, identifying and mitigating technology risks.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information; adhere to company security policies. Guide teams to share files securely with external business partners.
  • Track and manage software licenses. Participate in vetting new software in accordance with the company's centralized IT procurement policy.
  • Procure, track, and manage company IT equipment, ensuring that accurate records of all IT assets are maintained, and adequate stock is kept on hand, minimizing obsolete or unused inventory.
  • Track and manage domains. Liaise with marketing or property management partners who host our websites.
  • Draft and issue IT communications to staff regarding updates, security awareness, procedural changes and tips and tools.
  • Manage IT onboarding and offboarding of employees and consultants. Provide new hire orientation.
  • Perform the Administrator role for our Azure virtual servers.
  • Work with business leaders to identify and establish a business continuity program.
  • Work with the business areas to identify and implement new technologies to improve business processes and efficiency.
  • Manage the IT-related budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Implement, maintain, administer, and control the Asset Management system ensuring that accurate records of all information technology assets are maintained.
  • Manage all aspects of office technology support including but not limited to printing, PC/mobile problems, phones, client upgrades, networking, software, applications, remote access, office moves, setting up new users, etc.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud offerings and related enterprise technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and adoption.
