Everything we do is rooted in our passion for meaningful work, experiences, and possibilities. Our multidisciplinary team spans four core capabilities: strategy, design, digital products, and digital marketing.

We’re looking for a Content Strategist who thrives in client-facing environments—someone who can shape content experiences and confidently guide clients through our digital workflow.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, writing/editing, client communication, project flow management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal teams to support projects from scoping through launch, working closely with strategy, UX/UI, product management, and development teams to ensure content and client expectations stay aligned throughout the entire lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead content audits for new and existing digital projects
  • Page-level analysis, content mapping, information hierarchy, structural recommendations
  • Identify content gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to improve SEO, clarity, and UX
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable content guidelines, messaging frameworks, and page-by-page recommendations
  • Create (or oversee creation of) high-quality content deliverables, including web and application copy (UX copy, landing pages, product/service descriptions, CTAs), content migration plans and governance documents, and blog outlines and articles.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content works holistically with IA, metadata, and structured data
  • Provide content direction to designers and developers to ensure final experiences match content strategy
  • Maintain and push a high standard for tone, clarity, brand alignment, narrative quality, and user experience
  • Other content and copywriting/editing support as needed from the Tractorbeam team
Client Strategy & Communications
  • Proposal drafting, editing, and consolidation
  • Serve as the primary communications lead for select client accounts.
  • Lead check-ins and guide clients through strategic and technical topics with confidence and clarity.
  • Support functional requirements review, content brief development, and scoping conversations as needed
  • Partner with internal teams to manage handoffs, support project management workflows, ensure accuracy, and align deliverables with client goals.
  • Manage content-related scopes, feedback cycles, and expectation-setting.
  • Support QA cycles and content reviews to ensure everything that launches meets Tractorbeam’s standards.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Deliverables are brand-aligned, strategically structured, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Clients feel supported, informed, and confident at every stage.
  • Internal teams receive clear, actionable documentation and feedback.
  • Pages launch with correct content, strong UX flows, and minimal rework
  • You help strengthen Tractorbeam’s overall content discipline through templates, frameworks, and processes
  • Your work helps provide velocity for strategy, design, and development phases
What You Bring
  • 7-10 years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, digital copywriting and client services, or account/project management
  • Strong understanding of website content architecture, UX patterns, and digital brand storytellingweak
  • Experience running content audits, creating content plans, and writing user-centered copy
  • Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, organized, and proactive
  • Experience guiding or managing clients, ideally within an agency environment
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in simple, actionable ways
  • Comfort working with Figma, CMS platforms (Word Press, Shopify, Webflow, etc.), and standard project tools (Wrike, Harvest, etc.)
