Dev Ops Engineer

We are looking for a Dev Ops engineer who is an expert in configuration management, automated deployments, and continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks and build environments.
Responsibilities- Evolving and leading our continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks and build environments for Dev, QA, Staging, and Production.
- Designing best practices for build and release processes and tooling.
- Automating steps in our build and release systems.
- Overseeing daily build execution for various systems/releases.
- Maintaining Jenkins toolset-driven build configuration.
- Monitoring and maintaining uptime SLAs for the production environment.
- Assisting customers with performance tuning and high availability setup for server environments.
- Migrating from one tool to another (e.g., AHP to Jenkins).
- Administering DVCS systems like Git/Github, Bit Bucket, SVN, etc.
- Building and deploying frameworks such as Jenkins, Cloudbees, etc.
- Continuously improving and enhancing internal and customer frameworks with the latest technology trends in the market.
- 5-8 years of work experience in sys-admin and release management.
- Solid understanding of CI best practices and tooling, specifically Jenkins.
- Strong experience with Jenkins, Git-like DVCS systems, and their use in release management, branching, merging, and integration strategies.
- Experience in Cloud and Virtualization products.
- Advanced experience in automation tools and best practices.
- Extensive experience in building JAVA Web/Mobile Systems.
- Well-versed in using Solaris and Linux operating systems.
- Detailed knowledge of Configuration Management discipline.
- Self-starter with the ability to lead processes and projects.
- Thorough knowledge of Scripting with Shell, Perl, and Python.
- Strong organizational, communication skills, and detail-oriented.
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
