Job Description

The SAP Architect for Logistics owns the end-to-end architecture of all Supply-Chain & Logistics capabilities (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return) on SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud and related SAP cloud services. You will translate business strategy into a scalable, secure, and future-proof SAP landscape, govern solution delivery, and act as the company’s thought leader for SAP Public Cloud adoption.

• Own the overall logistics architecture covering SD, MM, WM/EWM, TM, LE, and IBP in an S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud environment.
• Shape and maintain the SAP cloud reference architecture, ensuring alignment with SAP’s Clean Core, Fit-to-Standard and BTP extension strategies.
• Define integration patterns across SAP Public Cloud, SAP BTP, non‑SAP SaaS, EDI, and on‑prem OT/IoT systems using API‑led and event‑driven designs.
• Drive data architecture decisions (MDG, CDS views, SAP Datasphere, SAC) to guarantee end‑to‑end data consistency for logistics processes.

• Partner with Supply‑Chain leadership to build the SAP roadmap, business cases, and TCO/ROI models for Public Cloud initiatives.
• Establish architecture principles, guardrails, and re‑usable solution accelerators; chair the SAP Logistics Design Authority.
• Monitor SAP release schedules, activate new innovations (e.g., AI‑based demand planning, advanced ATP) and manage regression impacts.

• Lead fit‑to‑standard workshops, author solution blueprints, and enforce SAP Public Cloud configuration best practices.
• Review functional specs, WRICEF objects, and test plans to ensure alignment with architecture and clean core guidelines.
• Guide data migration strategy (LTMC/LTMOM, RFC, IDoc, API), cut‑over, and hyper‑care for logistics work‑streams.
• Act as escalation point for critical design & performance issues during global roll‑outs.

• Pilot emerging SAP Public Cloud capabilities (e.g., Digital Manufacturing Cloud, RPA bots, SAP Analytics Cloud predictive scenarios).
• Advocate Dev Ops & CI/CD for SAP (Git‑enabled CTS, abap
  
  Git, gCTS pipelines) and champion API‑first, cloud‑native patterns.
• Mentor functional & technical teams; run knowledge‑sharing sessions, CoP events, and contribute to external SAP forums.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years SAP experience, 6+ years as solution/enterprise architect with deep Logistics footprint.
• Minimum 1 end‑to‑end S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud or RISE with SAP deployment (fit‑to‑standard) in a global environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two logistics modules (SD, MM, EWM, TM) and working knowledge of PP, IBP, GTS.
• Hands‑on design of integrations via SAP BTP (CPI), API Business Hub, Event Mesh, or PO/PI.
• Proven track record leading multi‑country roll‑outs, brown‑field/green‑field migrations, and hybrid cloud landscapes.
• Experience with agile delivery (SAFe/Scrum), Dev Ops, and automated testing tools (Tricentis, CBTA) for SAP.
