Overview

Delivery Consultant-Dev Ops, WWPS Pro Serve Fed Fin role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

AWS Professional Services helps customers realize business outcomes with AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud initiatives and provide focused guidance through global specialty practices.

• Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53, S3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and implementation experience
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, including integration with on-premise technologies and IT compliance/risk requirements (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA)

• 5+ years IT implementation experience in cloud computing, including design and deployment at scale
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation, Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes) and AWS Professional certifications preferred
• Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining search and analytics solutions (Open Search, Kibana)
