Overall Purpose: Serve as a Strategic Program Manager leading AI transformation initiatives within HR by bridging business stakeholders and delivery teams. Drive the end-to-end program management lifecycle, including the development and execution of strategic plans that align AI projects with organizational goals. Act as a key liaison and Product Owner Delegate, systematically gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements and user stories to ensure clear alignment with business objectives.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, manage stakeholder expectations, and orchestrate resources to deliver impactful solutions that advance HR capabilities and foster organizational change.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and maintain detailed business and technical requirements (Waterfall methodology) or user stories (Agile methodology).
  • Stakeholder Communication and Liaison:
    Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding, alignment of project goals, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Validation, Verification, and Quality Assurance:
    Coordinate and participate in testing and UAT activities to ensure requirements/user stories are accurately implemented and final deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Change and

    Risk Management:

    Manage changes to requirements/user stories, assess their impact on project scope, timeline, and resources, and identify and mitigate related risks.
  • Project Planning and Continuous Improvement:
    Assist in project planning activities, such as creating timelines and resource allocation plans, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve requirements management/user stories processes and tools.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience in Program/Project Management. Certification is required in some areas. PMP certification desired.
