Base pay range$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Payrate: $23.00 - $25.00/hr
Responsibilities- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution.
- May require an associate's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Candidate will possess working knowledge of PC and mobile hardware architecture as required to assemble a mobile or desktop system from components and update components in already existing systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems with emphasis on Windows XP as required to install the OS on a new computer, update the OS as required by patches or changes in the hardware configuration, troubleshoot functional and performance problems.
- Working knowledge and experience with hardware and software testing/validation.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $23.00 - $25.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
