Represent the voice of the customer, bringing customer feedback to product team to influence feature development and future product roadmap. Provide advanced technical knowledge to the domain to aligned GTM teams to unblock customers’ largest and most critical business challenges. Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:
Invent, etc. Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives. Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and eight years of experience in the job offered, as a Database Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and twelve years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and eight years of experience.
Must have seven years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) design and implementation experience of database‑driven applications and infrastructures; and (2) MS SQL Server and Postgre
SQL implementation, operations, or solution deployment experience in a business‑critical high‑availability environment. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) implementation, operations, or solution deployment on OCI, Azure, or AWS; (2) hands‑on experience as a SQL Server DBA, data warehouse architect, or database developer; (3) working with infrastructure requirements such as networking, storage, and hardware; (4) implementation and tuning experience of databases including with schema design, query tuning and optimization, or data migration and integration;
and (5) with modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and Dev Ops.

Work Hours and Salary40 hours / week, 8:00am‑5:00pm, Salary Range $182,800/year to $247,300/year.
