JOB SUMMARY

This role leads the advancement of intelligent automation and test automation by assessing business processes and developing automated solutions. It strengthens and maintains enterprise automation frameworks, ensures alignment with industry best practices, and supports Center of Excellence leadership in the effective operation, governance, and expansion of automation capabilities. The role also requires a strong commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of emerging automation technologies to sustain long term operational excellence.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Education
    High School Diploma or GED and
    Plus successful completion of vocational training in computer programming.
  • Experience
    5 years in computer operation and/or programming, including at least one (1) year as Programmer Analyst I or equivalent.
    College degree in related field may be used in lieu of experience.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
  • Partner with testing, development, and business teams to align automation initiatives with organizational strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth workflow analysis to identify and prioritize opportunities for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), test automation, and agentic/intelligent automation solutions.
    Design, develop, and implement robust automated test cases for UI, API, and backend systems using tools such as UiPath and Test Complete.
  • Architect and deliver end-to-end RPA and agentic/intelligent automation solutions that optimize business processes, reducing manual effort and operational costs.
  • Enhance scalable test automation frameworks and advance agentic automation through integration and application of AI-driven capabilities.
  • Act as a key contributor to the Automation Centre of Excellence by defining, documenting, and promoting best practices, standards, and reusable components across the organization.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and training to junior analysts and cross-functional teams on automation tools, techniques, and governance processes.
  • Continuously optimize and maintain automation assets, including refactoring scripts, updating selectors, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across environments.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
  • Defines and analyzes problems of moderate complexity or assists user personnel in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.
  • Designs computer system to accomplish solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.
  • Reanalyzes problem if computer cannot handle original design effectively; makes modifications as necessary.
  • Selects or modifies existing programs or program systems as applicable and structures data formats for solution of problems.
  • Implements systems or job streams.
  • Estimates resources required for project and planning purposes.
  • Schedules computer hardware to effect more economical use of existing equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
