QA ETL Tester - Bilingual​/Spanish

We are seeking a skilled bilingual Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing business, functional, and design specifications; developing and executing manual test cases; identifying defects; and documenting test results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes and quality standards, along with hands‑on experience testing customer‑facing applications, including mobile applications, IVR systems, chatbots, and ETL processes.

• Ability to work onsite as needed, up to three times per week
• 12‑month Statement of Work (SOW)

• 6+ years of hands‑on QA/testing experience, specifically with critical, customer‑facing applications
• College degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with qTest and JIRA is a plus
• Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English

• Analyze business, functional, and design specifications to gain a thorough understanding of applications under test
• Design, develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts, including test scripts, test data, and test results
• Identify testing requirements from specifications and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Execute manual test cases and accurately document test results
• Identify, reproduce, and log defects in JIRA; validate defect fixes

• Lead and participate in test plan and test case review sessions with cross‑functional teams
• Identify potential quality issues, escalate risks promptly, and follow defined quality processes
• Determine functional flows for regression and performance testing
• Ensure tested deliverables meet business, functional, and design requirements
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT processes and standards
• Hands‑on experience testing mobile applications, IVR calls, chatbots, ETL processes, and writing SQL queries
• Effectively prioritize tasks, assess risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve blockers
• Maintain organized documentation of all test artifacts in a centralized repository to support reusability

• Contribute to continuous software quality improvements for customer‑facing web applications
• Validate consistency and functional alignment across all applications within a program
• Develop project‑ and program‑level test plans for functional and non‑functional testing; assist with effort estimation and scheduling
• Perform peer reviews of test cases and test execution results
• Create, maintain, and report on project and program dashboards and metrics
• Communicate testing status, risks, and overall program health to leadership to support decision‑making
• Actively participate throughout all project phases and provide input on design and architecture where applicable
• Stay current with emerging trends in software testing and lead or support proof‑of‑concept initiatives as needed
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TOSCA, and Cypress; ability to build automation frameworks from scratch is a plus
• Drive continuous quality improvements throughout the project lifecycle
