Job Role: .Net Developer with cybersecurity
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security Specialist with a strong foundation in .Net technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our organization's information systems and data. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s information assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure coding practices are followed.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of .Net framework and its security features.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Ability to analyze security incidents and develop effective response strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or Java.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
