Required Technical Skills – Primary

Extensive experience with Exadata Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades, and Patching
.

Manage database objects like Table space, users, Indexes, roles, privileges, profiles, DB links, and synonyms.

Configuring and Administering the Oracle 12c, 18c and 19c.

Proficient in logical backup and recovery using data pump, export/import.

Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL.

Good in performance tuning using (AWR, Explain the plan).

Hands-on experience in Database Cloning.

Automatic Storage Management.

Initialization of Parameters.

Experience in Backup and Recovery Strategies planning using RMAN.

Extensive experience in Database patching.

Upgrade of Oracle Databases from 12c to 18c/19c.

Flash Recovery Features & Flash back query.

Managing Alerts and Notifications.

Experience in partitioning of tables.

Cross-platform transportable Table spaces.

Excellent Knowledge of implementation, configuration, and Data Guard / RAC (Real Application Clusters), including implementation, configuration, Administration, and troubleshooting issues.

Experience working with the development team during design sessions to provide performance and scaling inputs.

Experience with troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store, including application server, network, storage, and operating system component/layer.

Exadata feature enablement, monitoring, review, and update placement strategy.

Working knowledge on Exadata and above platforms.

Experience with Data Guard setup and management.

Good Experience with exachk.

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM
13c).

Experience with Patch/Upgrade and release management (database, storage node, server, network, Oracle Exadata).

Develop and maintain system documentation related to your Oracle Exadata and software configuration.

Apply process and architectural improvements to continually improve the availability, capacity, and performance of database systems.

Extensive working knowledge of utilities like Data Pump, Export / Import.

Managing high-severity critical incident issues and calls.

Working on Root Cause Analysis and problem tickets, both pro-active and reactive.

Technical Skills – Secondary

Prior experience working in a Dev Ops / Agile environment will be an advantage.

Working knowledge on ITSM tool – JIRA.
