Open Shift Platform Lead – Infosys

Infosys is seeking an Open Shift Platform Lead who brings in-depth IT knowledge and experience to gather and analyze business/application requirements, design strategic target‑state architecture, maximize performance and capacity while driving IT costs down, and integrate orchestration and automation for rapid solution delivery.

Required Qualifications
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate. The position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proven, hands‑on experience architecting and leading the migration of complex, enterprise applications to container platforms such as Open Shift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of container‑native storage (CSI), networking, and security principles required for running mission‑critical stateful workloads in production.
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Helm, Kustomize, Ansible) within a Kubernetes/Open Shift ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre

    SQL, and Mongo

    DB – with practical experience in high‑volume, mission‑critical environments.
  • Hands‑on experience designing data replication, partitioning, sharding, indexing strategies, and stored procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
  • Solid understanding of No

    SQL technologies, distributed systems, and microservices‑based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed database services.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding how application requirements determine infrastructure type and size, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities.
  • Experience as a Systems Admin or Systems Engineer is preferred, with root‑cause analysis techniques in a highly complex Data Center environment.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to develop working relationships, manage multiple projects with different priorities.
  • Team player with willingness to learn the latest technology, while taking initiative to master new tasks quickly.
  • Public Cloud Certifications is a plus.
