Senior Information Risk Consultant - Information Security

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments of applications, infrastructure, and vendors using established methodologies.
• Identify and document control gaps and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to articulate risks in a clear, understandable manner.
• Evaluate and ensure remediation plans effectively address identified risks.
• Document risks in the companys risk register and assist with policy exceptions and risk acceptance processes.
• Drive process improvements in the risk assessment program.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 5-7 years of experience in risk assessment (application, infrastructure, or vendor risk management).
• Strong knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and cybersecurity risks.
• Proficiency in information risk management frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Power Point , and PowerBI for data analysis and presentations.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
