AWS​/Azure Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• We need a Cloud Architect who is hands-on and comfortable experimenting with new tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (preferably in AWS or Azure).
• Ideally has experience with Elastic (Elasticsearch) - but this is not mandatory.
• Should be comfortable downloading, configuring, and testing open-source technologies to determine best-fit solutions.
• Must have a builder's mindset - curious, experimental, and pragmatic in approach.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud security principles.

• Strong grounding in Python and/or modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments and with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in fast-paced, experimental environments where proof-of-concepts and iteration cycles are common.
• Strong communication and documentation skills - capable of collaborating across engineering, data, and product teams.
