The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to serve as the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team develops and supports critical technology platforms that enhance operational resiliency, business continuity, security, scalability, and innovation across DTCC’s business operations, post-trade processing services, and emerging digital asset initiatives.

DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role:

As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, availability, resiliency, and performance of business-critical applications that support DTCC’s post-trade processing, settlement, and next-generation financial technology platforms. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, and business teams to diagnose and resolve production issues, support application deployments, enhance monitoring and observability capabilities, and improve operational readiness across the technology landscape.

This role provides the opportunity to work with modern technologies across cloud platforms, enterprise messaging systems, distributed applications, automation initiatives, and enterprise observability solutions. You will contribute to operational excellence by improving reliability, reducing operational risk, strengthening disaster recovery capabilities, and supporting applications that are essential to DTCC’s day-to-day business operations and strategic technology transformation efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide production support for mission-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, production defects, service disruptions, and application issues

Monitor application, infrastructure, integration, and messaging platform health using enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability tools and respond proactively to alerts and operational events

Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis across application, database, middleware, messaging, cloud, and infrastructure layers to identify and resolve recurring issues

Partner with development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational challenges

Maintain and continuously improve support documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and production runbooks to ensure effective support coverage and knowledge sharing

Support application deployments, production releases, vendor upgrades, configuration changes, and implementation activities across development, pre-production, and production environments
