AWS Security & IAM Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill an AWS Security & IAM Engineer position for our client.

• Design, implement, and support AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including users, roles, policies, and privileged access controls.
• Enforce least-privilege access, security policies, and governance standards across multi-account AWS environments.
• Monitor and remediate IAM security risks, policy violations, and access issues.
• Automate identity provisioning, access reviews, reporting, and governance using Python and AWS tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for IAM and cloud resource provisioning.
• Support compliance audits, access certifications, identity lifecycle management, and security monitoring.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise identity platforms, directories, and authentication protocols.

• Strong AWS security and IAM expertise, including AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and permission boundaries.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, Boto3, AWS CLI, and API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation, CI/CD tools, and Git.
• Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, networking, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and directory services.
• Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra , ISIM, or ISAM.
• Preferred experience with IAM request and approval workflows, PAM solutions, Service Now, Jira, and SIEM integrations.

• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting AWS IAM and cloud security solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience automating identity provisioning, access management, and governance processes across cloud and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with access reviews, compliance requirements, security troubleshooting, and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Ability to collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure and efficient identity management solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant AWS, cloud security, or IAM certifications are preferred.
