The Role UST is searching for an experienced Healthcare Project Delivery Consultant with 8-10 years of proven experience leading end-to-end software development engagements for healthcare clients.

What You’ll Do
· Own end-to-end delivery of client SDLC engagements, covering requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
· Lead multiple concurrent healthcare client engagements, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline commitments are met and changes are managed through formal change control.
· Serve as the primary delivery contact for client business sponsors, product owners, and executives, while coordinating with architects, developers, QA teams, and partner or subcontracted vendors.
· Develop engagement plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and client status reports using Jira and Smartsheet.
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, and adapt the delivery model to each client’s maturity.
· Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans, and escalate them to client leadership early.
· Monitor engagement KPIs and provide regular, executive-ready updates to client and internal leadership.
· Ensure delivery adheres to client healthcare regulations, compliance obligations, and data privacy requirements, including HIPAA.
· Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing, and production deployments with client teams.
· Drive continuous improvement and reusable delivery practices across engagements.
· Manage engagement budgets, forecasts, billing milestones, billable utilization, and resource profitability.
· Support business development by contributing to proposals, effort estimates, SOW development, and solution discovery workshops.
· Establish communication cadences that keep client and delivery teams aligned.

What You Need
· 8-10 years of experience managing software development projects.
· 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT or healthcare software delivery.
· Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with the judgment to select the right approach for each client.
· Hands-on experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
· Experience managing distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple clients.
· Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
· Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
· Experience with engagement budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and utilization tracking.
· Willingness to travel to client sites as the engagement requires.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
· Prior consulting or professional services experience, or a client-facing delivery role at a services firm. (Preferred)
· Experience with healthcare systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), Claims Processing, Prior Authorization, Care Management, Population Health, and Provider and Member Portals. (Preferred)
· Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and EDI X12. (Preferred)
· Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. (Preferred)
· Familiarity with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes. (Preferred)
