Senior Security Engineer

At TFI International, you'll help strengthen cybersecurity across one of North America's largest transportation and logistics organizations. As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll design, implement, and enhance security solutions that protect the business and its operating companies.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll partner with IT teams, business leaders, and cybersecurity professionals to improve security architecture, support enterprise-wide initiatives, and influence the organization's overall security strategy. You'll work on meaningful projects, solve complex challenges, and make a measurable impact across a large, diverse environment.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll lead cybersecurity initiatives that strengthen the organization's security posture across cloud and on-premises environments while supporting strategic security projects and operational initiatives.

• Design, implement, and enhance enterprise cybersecurity solutions and security controls.
• Lead cybersecurity projects that improve the organization's overall security posture.
• Support security technologies across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts with key stakeholders.
• Participate in security incident response activities and investigations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business leaders to integrate security into technology initiatives.
• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and trusted advisor to operating companies across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging threats and recommend improvements to security architecture and controls.
• Support the development of cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

We're seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional who enjoys building security solutions, solving complex challenges, and collaborating with stakeholders across a large organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to security.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on security engineering.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and incident response.
• Experience supporting cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, etc.) preferred.
• Bilingual English and French is an asset.
