For our client, we are seeking a Senior Consultant - Data Platforms & Architecture to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.
This role will help shape and deliver modern data platform and architecture solutions that support operational insight and business decision-making in a complex, data-rich environment. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into scalable analytics solutions. The position calls for hands‑on expertise across Microsoft cloud data services, reporting, and database design, with an emphasis on dependable delivery and clear communication.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $103,100 – $154,700 annually
- Deliver technical solutions using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Implement solutions with Microsoft Power BI and related technologies
- Leverage advanced database systems for business and operational analysis
- Develop reliable and scalable data solutions
- Communicate technical details effectively to business and management
- Perform data analysis to enhance information management systems
- Create reports, dashboards, and visual analytics using various tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse
- Expertise in data management, business intelligence, and analytics concepts
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, including Power BI and SQL Server
- Strong SQL skills, including writing stored procedures and tuning
