Senior Dev Ops Engineer at Call Miner | AWS & K8s — Remote
This is a well-scoped senior Dev Ops role at Call Miner, a Boston-based AI/SaaS company that has grown to be a recognized leader in conversation intelligence. The "5+ years required" bar and breadth of the tech stack signal this is a genuine senior-level position — not an inflated title for a mid-level hire.
Compensation context: No salary is listed, but US senior Dev Ops Engineers with AWS/Azure dual-cloud expertise and Kubernetes experience typically command $130,000–$165,000 annually in 2024–2025 market benchmarks (Levels.fyi, Glassdoor). Call Miner's Boston roots suggest competitive SaaS-tier compensation.
Skills development: The stack here — ArgoCD, Ansible/AWX, Git Lab CI/CD, multi-cloud (AWS + Azure), Kubernetes — is highly marketable. Git Ops expertise in particular is in growing demand as platform engineering matures. This role would meaningfully strengthen a resume for future Principal/Staff Dev Ops or Platform Engineering positions.
- Green flags: Named as a Boston Globe Top Workplace; emphasis on radical candor and transparency signals a psychologically safe culture; generous benefits including paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
- Green flags: Cross-functional collaboration (dev, QA, ops) suggests visibility and influence beyond a siloed infra role.
- Watch for: No mention of team size or headcount — ask about the Dev Ops team structure and on-call rotation frequency in the interview.
- Watch for: Hybrid Windows Server + Linux environments can signal legacy tech debt alongside modern tooling — clarify the ratio of greenfield vs. maintenance work.
Overall, this is a strong opportunity for a senior Dev Ops professional looking to deepen multi-cloud and Git Ops expertise within a growing AI-native company.
