For our client, we are seeking a Integration Engineer (Chicago) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will partner closely with sales, implementation, product, and engineering teams to guide major customers through complex technical integrations. The position combines hands-on software problem solving with customer-facing communication, helping ensure successful adoption, smooth implementations, and strong long-term relationships. It will also play a visible role in sharing technical expertise, influencing product improvements, and representing the company in external forums.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to enhance client engagement and support revenue growth
- Plan and execute end-to-end integration engineering work, from architecture through code
- Communicate technical concepts and platform functionality clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
- Educate users and the developer community on best practices and practical integration approaches
- Serve as the primary technical contact for major customers and partners
- Stay current on new technologies and represent the company at industry events
- Provide feedback and best practices to product and engineering teams
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or integration engineering
- Proficiency in code-level debugging across both internal systems and customer code
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively
- User-first mindset with strong empathy for customers
- Confidence in customer interactions
- Broad technical expertise across multiple domains
