For our client, we are seeking a Senior Identity Governance Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will help shape the identity governance strategy for a modern technology environment, with a focus on strengthening access controls, automation, and visibility across critical systems. The engineer will partner closely with Security Architecture and related stakeholders to define scalable standards for authentication, authorization, and privileged access governance.
This is a hands-on position that blends technical design, tooling, and analytics to improve how access is requested, reviewed, monitored, and remediated.
Location:
Remote. Compensation: $134,500 - $201,700 annually
- Engineer identity governance tooling, automation, and design standards
- Define governance requirements for access request workflows across privileged systems
- Partner with Security Architecture to establish authentication and authorization design standards
- Build and operate user access review program tooling and automation
- Create visibility into privileged access across cloud infrastructure and data platforms
- Define target-state governance architecture across identity platforms
- Build identity analytics for continuous monitoring and remediation
- 5+ years in identity and access management, with a focus on Identity Governance & Administration
- Hands-on experience with IGA tools such as Veza, Lumos, and Okta
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards, including SSO, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
- Experience governing non-human identities in cloud environments such as AWS and GCP
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go and API integration
