Data Science Manager

Compensation:$ 150,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience

Location:Full Remote

Data Science Manager
to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity to lead a growing data science function focused on optimization, automation, and scalable decision-making. You’ll guide a team building solutions that help business users quickly get the best possible answer for complex logistics challenges. If you enjoy turning mathematical problems into practical, server-based tools that support real business operations, this role offers a strong opportunity to make a visible impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and mentor a data science team
• Develop automated optimization solutions
• Translate business problems into mathematical models
• Build tools for route and efficiency decisions
• Work with stakeholders to define goals and constraints
• Support deployment of models to cloud-based servers
• Collaborate on scalable analytics and automation initiatives
• Present technical ideas in clear, simple language

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• At least 3 years of management experience
• Experience with optimization and problem-solving
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with Gurobi
• Familiarity with AWS and ECS
• Knowledge of PyTorch or scikit-learn
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Google OR-Tools
• Background in logistics or supply chain optimization
• Experience building production-ready data science solutions
• Comfort working with business leaders and technical teams
• Experience guiding assessment-based interview processes
