Norwegian-Speaking Audio Transcription Expert

You will turn Norwegian audio and video into accurate written text for language technology projects. The work also includes reviewing transcripts, classifying speech segments, and making careful decisions when recordings are unclear.

• Transcribe Norwegian audio and video into accurate written text.
• Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and accuracy.
• Annotate and classify speech segments using project guidelines.
• Flag unclear audio and add context notes or suggested interpretations.
• Work with coordinators and other language experts to clarify requirements.
• Share feedback that improves transcription guidelines and workflows.
• Handle confidential information securely and follow data privacy requirements.

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The role is listed as entry level, but prior transcription or language-focused experience is required.
