The Dallas, TX office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to work in the Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. They will be responsible for reviewing conflict check reports and identifying, advising, analyzing and resolving potential conflicts of interest and working directly with attorneys to clear conflicts related to the hiring of new partners, associates, paralegals, and other firm hires.
This position ensures new hires are compliant with the Firm's conflicts and risk management policies and procedures. There are no billable hour requirements for this position.

ResponsibilitiesPosition Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and active member of the Bar, in good standing, in the State of Texas
- At least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience as a Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm setting with demonstrated research and complex problem-solving skills, or at least three (3) years of experience as a general Conflicts Attorney with one (1) year of cumulative experience related to the clearance of lateral hires
- Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data; excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Close attention to detail, collaborative team member, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with Law Time and/or Aderant is preferred, though not required
