Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney – Personal Injury / Civil Litigation
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Managing Partner / Senior Partner

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Dallas, Texas
. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing personal injury and civil litigation matters from intake through trial or resolution. This is a client-facing role that requires strong legal acumen, litigation strategy, and a commitment to delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a docket of personal injury and civil litigation cases at various stages, including pre-litigation, discovery, mediation, and trial

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements

  • Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials in state and federal courts throughout Texas

  • Develop case strategies and manage case budgets and timelines

  • Supervise junior associates, paralegals, and support staff as needed

  • Maintain active communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress

  • Work closely with partners to prepare for complex litigation and high-stakes negotiations

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar

  • Texas Resident
  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury and/or civil litigation

  • Proven track record of handling cases independently, including trial or arbitration experience

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

  • Exceptional organizational, case management, and client service abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, Needles, Trial Works) preferred

Preferred

Skills:

  • First-chair or second-chair trial experience

  • Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and general civil defense or plaintiff litigation
