Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities
The Practice Services team sits at the intersection of practicing lawyers and certain administrative functions of the Firm and works in a collaborative and dynamic team-based environment that is focused on providing internal and external service excellence. The Practice Manager supports the Firm’s Business & Tort Litigation practice assisting practice leadership and partners with respect to practice management and business and client development activities as well as working cooperatively with lawyers and fellow staff to advance and execute practice initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include:
Overseeing and executing projects across Practice development and management, in coordination with other departments, including business development, recruiting, internal and external communications, professional development, client service, financial reporting and analysis, research and competitive intelligence;
Monitoring news and industry trends and staying apprised of Firm developments relevant to the Practice; and Assisting with the preparation of submissions for legal directories, industry awards, surveys, and league tables.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel capability and confidence in creative calculations and data analysis. Strong PowerPoint capability.
