Job Details

An international law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our dynamic commercial litigation group. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who is looking to leverage their expertise in legal writing and conducting depositions. The successful candidate will be involved in high-stakes litigation and will work closely with our team of accomplished litigators. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of legal documents and correspondences.
  • Conducting thorough and detailed depositions and witness interviews.
  • Collaborating with our team to develop litigation strategies and make decisions related to case management.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and provide legal advice.
  • Representing the company in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Building relationships with clients and all involved parties.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of changes in legislation that may affect the company and the industry.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of law firm litigation experience
  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
  • Proficient in conducting depositions and witness interviews.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and laws applicable to the Accounting + Finance industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
