Role DescriptionWe are seeking an on‑site Litigation Paralegal to play a vital role in supporting our attorneys through various stages of the litigation process. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in significant litigation matters and exposure to various areas of law at a large or mid‑sized litigation law firm. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging cases, refine your skills, and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

- Provide litigation support to attorneys by conducting pre‑claim investigations, legal research on legal issues relevant to cases, and initial case assessments.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and notices.
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Review and analyze documents for relevance and compliance with legal standards.
- Accurately provide case management by coordinating meetings, scheduling depositions and hearings, calendaring hearings, depositions, and meetings, corresponding with experts, and organizing case files.
- Prepare trial binders and assist in the preparation of exhibits for court proceedings.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for cases.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards.
- Exercise critical thinking skills, superior communication and organizational skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal at a law firm.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Meet the high expectations of a demanding work environment while maintaining independence and objectivity.
- Highly organized and very detail oriented.
- Work autonomously, efficiently, and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining commitment to quality.
- Exercise sound judgment and appropriately consult with or seek attorney review when necessary.
- Sharp, resourceful, dedicated team member with a strong work ethic.
- Experienced in a wide range of complex litigation processes, handling cases with numerous parties or substantial legal issues.
- Understand legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes and other related matters.
- Proficient in using Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Sign, and/or Docu Sign.
- Familiarity with iManage, Surepoint/Coyote, Lexis, and Westlaw.
- Managing the e‑File process in various courts and jurisdictions.
