Warehouse Associate​/Driver

Operation Blessing (OB) is looking for a Warehouse Associate / Driver to provide effective shipping, receiving, inventory control and warehousing support to Operation Blessing’s distribution center in Grand Prairie, TX and coordinate and facilitate product distribution to local ministry partners. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to OB’s Biblical mission to extend a helping hand in Christ’s name to meet physical and spiritual needs.

This position has an hourly rate of $18-$20.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Knowledge of and compliance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations
• Skilled in MS Office, and industry standard inventory software applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and public
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and be an effective member of a team
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
• Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend and lift 50+ pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to travel as needed
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Valid “Class A” CDL Permit with CDL-A license within 6 months
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with OB’s nonprofit Christian mission
