Our client, a Japanese Freight Forwarding company is looking for a Logistics Agent to join their team
Title:Logistics Agent Type:
Full Time Direct Hire Non Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual in Japanese and English (business level)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages
- Warehouse or forklift experience is a plus
- Eligible to obtain TSA/STA clearance (company support provided)
- Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for customs clearance, including import/export declarations, invoices, and other required forms
- Handle daily administrative operations, including data entry into internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, and customers through email and telephone correspondence.
- File documents in a timely matter Track shipments and provide updates for customers
- Coordinate delivery scheduling and ensure carrier compliance
- Support warehouse operations, including packing air cargo shipments
- Provide occasional weekend support as needed
