FMCG Supply Chain Manager

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock optimization, and reduction of waste.
• Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, logistics providers, and other third-party partners.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control measures throughout the supply chain.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics and KPIs, providing regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior management.

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with significant exposure to the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in managing complex supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices within the FMCG supply chain.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, vital for operations in Welkom.
