Position SummaryThe Vice President of Marketing is a senior leader in the organization with direct visibility to the CEO and Executive Leadership team. Primary responsibility for leading the organization’s marketing vision, strategy, execution, and shaping the marketing vision, brand strategy, and patient engagement initiatives for a multi-state, high growth multi-disciplinary healthcare medical group. This role drives organization-wide marketing priorities, oversees a high-performing marketing team, and ensures consistent brand presence, measurable growth, and strong community engagement across all markets and organizational stakeholders.
The VP will partner with senior leadership, operations, business development, and physician leadership to position the organization as a market leader in patient care and provider relationships.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth, service line expansion, and patient acquisition goals. Serve as a member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, market positioning, and long-term planning. Lead outreach, branding and strategic marketing initiatives to maintain a unified, effective, trusted, and patient-centric image across all regions and service lines. Anticipate market trends, emerging healthcare technologies, and competitive threats to proactively adjust marketing strategies.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex data and insights in a clear, compelling manner to diverse stakeholders including physicians, leadership, and external partners.
- Direct and inspire a geographically distributed marketing team, including directors, managers, specialized staff and outsourced elements. Establish performance expectations, mentor team members, and create a culture of accountability, innovation, and results. Oversee the development and management of the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources with high ROI.
- Primary interface and corporate representative/project owner for existing and future retained marketing centric consulting partners.
- Ensure recommendations are evaluated, prioritized, and implemented effectively.
- Translate complex consulting insights into clear action plans for internal teams.
- Provide feedback loops between internal leadership and consultants to refine strategies.
- Ensure consistent messaging and patient experience across all communication channels, clinic locations, and patient touchpoints. Oversee public relations strategy, media engagement, and crisis communication to protect and enhance the organization’s reputation. Lead creative development for campaigns, collateral, and digital assets, ensuring brand standards and healthcare compliance.
- Partner with business development to support new practice acquisitions, service line launches, and expansion into new markets. Develop and manage strategic and targeted marketing initiatives to drive patient acquisition, referral growth, and retention. Leverage analytics to measure campaign performance, patient conversion, and referral source engagement.
- Manage a performance marketing engine across digital and offline channels, with a focus on patient conversion, attribution analytics, and lifetime value optimization.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, content strategy, social media, and online reputation management. Guide integration of marketing automation, CRM systems, and data analytics to enable precision targeting and ROI tracking.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required;
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience:
5-10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing leadership role, preferably within a healthcare centric multi-location service sector. Proven track…
