The Operations Project Manager role is a newly created function geared around resourcing longer‑term strategic/transformational projects with experienced and versatile operations leaders to drive foundational change needed to enable the growth of the company.

- Manage longer‑term strategic/transformational projects geared around supporting the company’s growth.
- Selection, implementation and/or modification of business systems critical to managing the operational aspects of the business, including forecasting, planning, ERP/MRP, TMS.
- Develop a configurable model to geographically segment the sales forecast to align with the manufacturing footprint while optimizing service, capacity utilization & operating costs.
- Establish information infrastructure and methodology to manage the intercompany flow of materials between warehouse locations.
- Assist with the selection, development and business integration of new manufacturing technologies to support capacity expansion and new product innovation.
- Support Procurement in the successful onboarding of critical new suppliers across the manufacturing network.
- Manage the operational aspects of new product introductions and product changes across the manufacturing network.
- Work with Quality to identify and implement corrective action and preventative measures to improve quality levels.
- Lead broad‑based cost improvement activities to improve gross margins and/or operating costs.
- Coaching/mentoring other team members in operations management, project management, process & systems development, CI, quality improvement, etc.
- BS in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or Logistics (required).
- MBA preferred.
- 10‑15 years of experience in a leadership role in a supply chain, operations management or project management role working for a direct manufacturer (required).
- CPG experience.
- Independent self‑starter able to self‑direct and take constructive action in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Expert applied knowledge of forecasting, ERP/MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing disciplines.
- Excellent organization, communication and follow‑up skills.
- Able to influence others & manage conflict.
- Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving utilizing CI tool sets.
