Field Research Manager – Dallas, TX. CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. This role is based in the Dallas office with travel expectations (approximately 25% monthly). • Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of approximately eight Field Researchers.
• Conduct daily reviews of the team’s production against KPI metrics and ensure data quality against standards and guidelines.
• Provide constructive, actionable feedback to team members to meet production and quality expectations.
• Develop action plans to help team members grow, succeed, and maintain engagement.
• Communicate effectively with employees and internal partners to meet company objectives.
• Collaborate with Tenant and Market Research teams; align the manager’s schedule with field researchers (EST/CST/PST).
• Spend time in the field with Field Researchers to demonstrate best practices for data collection, time management, and efficiency.
• Travel within and to assigned markets as required monthly.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• 3–5 years of direct operations management experience overseeing 5+ employees; virtual management a plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and verify data quality.
• Experience with KPI management and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to build cohesive teams through influence and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate and execute corporate strategy.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret information and trends, and adapt quickly.
• Proficiency in Excel (data manipulation, filtering, basic formulas) and MS Office applications; familiarity with Apple OS and other internet applications.
• Field experience is a plus; valid driver’s license and driving record check prior to start.
• Willingness to travel to assigned markets and comply with local driving requirements.

• Base compensation: $95,000–$100,000 (salary). The final offer will be influenced by location, skills, and competencies.
