Position SummaryThe primary function of the Assembler is to provide a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, eager to learn and grow as a versatile assembler.
Shift ScheduleM-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (some extended hours may be required from time to time) & some Saturdays. Hourly, non‑exempt.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks meeting with a consistent level of high skill, knowledge and versatility meeting high quality expectations
- Solder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets
- Work with hand tools and specialty tools as required
- Perform rework resulting from drawing change notices
- Cross‑train as back‑up in other areas of the manufacturing plant
- Develop working knowledge of the production environment
- Comply with manufacturing code of conduct
- Prioritize safety, quality, accuracy, and reliability of work performed

- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
- 1 year of related assembly experience
- Experience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures, wire routing
- Use and operate various computer systems and applicable software (such as retrieving work instructions or manufacturing module in ERP system)
- Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions and processes to assemble cables to manufacturing and industry specifications
- Must be work driven and goal‑oriented
- Must work well with others and follow given instructions
- Gain the trust and respect of others
This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury so some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 100 pounds (with assistance) is required.
