The primary function of the Assembler is to provide a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, eager to learn and grow as a versatile assembler.

You will be using general tools such as soldering irons, cutters, wrenches, luggers, component bending tools, power tools and screwdrivers, vacuum equipment, heat guns, tie wrap guns, crimpers, crimping machines and possibly others. (Required to provide own/personal tools)

M‑F 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (some extended hours may be required from time to time) & some Saturdays. Hourly, non‑exempt.

• Perform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks meeting a consistent level of high skill, knowledge and versatility with high quality expectations.
• Solder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets.
• Work with hand tools and specialty tools as required.
• Perform rework resulting from drawing change notices.
• Cross‑train as back‑up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
• Develop working knowledge of the production environment.
• Comply with manufacturing code of conduct.
• Prioritize safety, quality, accuracy and reliability of work performed.

• Report quality problems or defects to manager or senior management for corrective action.
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

• 1 year of related assembly experience.
• Experience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures and wire routing.
• Use and operate various computer systems and software (such as retrieving work instructions or manufacturing module in ERP system).
• Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions to assemble cables to manufacturing and industry specifications.

This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury. Safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 100 pounds (with assistance) is required.
